The annual Mil-Pra Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) exhibition and art prizes celebrate the significance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture in our region and beyond.
This year we proudly celebrate the 33rd edition of the Mil-Pra AECG exhibition and art prizes at Liverpool Powerhouse.
Event Running Order:
2-2:15pm: Artists and their guests arrive and take seats in Theatre
2:15-3:15pm: Award Ceremony in Theatre (this will be live streamed in Turbine Hall as well with seating available in Turbine Hall also)
3:15-4:00pm: Launch event in Turbine Hall & Galleries (light refreshments provided for attendees)

Connecting Threads: Carmel Mackie will also launch as part of the 33rd Mil-Pra AECG Art Exhibition & Prizes 2025. This exhibition is the outcome of Carmel receiving the Liverpool Powerhouse Aboriginal Scholarship Prize at the 32nd Mil-Pra AECG Art Exhibition & Prizes 2024.
