Liverpool Powerhouse Art After School Mixed Media and Painting Term 1.
Over the course of 8 weeks children will be encouraged to explore a variety of artmaking techniques to create unique 2-dimensional works that tell their own stories.
Led by Jo Wong Hoyee, an experienced visual art educator and creative arts therapist, the program nurtures creativity while supporting each child’s individual expression.
Jo has guided artmakers of all ages and abilities to develop person-centred projects, drawing on her expertise in drawing, painting, illustration, printmaking, and photography.
Jo provides support and encouragement, creating an accessible and friendly environment where young artists can build skills and confidence at their own pace.
Her practice spans freehand, tech-assisted, pigment-based, and digital formats, offering children a rich and varied creative experience.
This is an 8-week course, and all materials are provided.
