When love becomes control, finding your voice is an act of survival.
Fractured is a powerful 30-minute independent short film based on true events, exploring the often-hidden realities of domestic abuse and control within intimate relationships. Centred on Jamal, a man who believes love should be managed and owned, the film reveals how emotional manipulation and isolation quietly erode his marriage and diminish his wife, Nadia.
A musician, Nadia finds refuge in music when words fail her. Through sound, silence and creative expression, she begins to reconnect with her sense of self and question the life she has been forced to endure.
