90 MinsOur mixed media and paint term classes allow children to explore and delve into different techniques of painting and creating to tell stories.
Starting by discussing themes, moving on to sketching and planning their painting, mix and apply different materials and paint to create A3 works to take home. This workshop is learner-centred and involves step-by-step composing with simple shapes, that children will modify into more complex shapes and apply colours using watercolour and acrylic paint.
The budding artmakers will move on to more advanced techniques such as shading, colour mixing, paint effects, stamping and collage as the terms progresses.
This is the perfect workshop to get one’s creative juices flowing.
Jo Wong Hoyee has years of experience teaching children and adult alike and specialises in drawing, painting, illustration, printmaking and photography in both free-hand, pigment-based and digital formats.
