Ceramic Pinch Pot Pears Workshop
Create your own sculptural pears from clay in this relaxed and creative hand-building workshop for ages 16+. Guided by artist Tina Wheatley, participants will learn the pinch pot technique and discover how this versatile method can be used to create unique ceramic forms. From there, you'll shape, refine, and add texture and detail to your pear, bringing your own creative interpretation to this familiar everyday object.
Inspired by the simple beauty found in everyday items, this workshop offers a fun and welcoming introduction to working with clay. It's a great opportunity to explore ceramic techniques, develop new skills, build confidence with hand-building methods, and enjoy the mindful process of making something from scratch. Whether you're completely new to ceramics or have some experience, you'll be encouraged to experiment and express your creativity in a supportive environment.
All materials and tools are provided. Once completed, your pieces will be professionally fired and glazed, ready for collection at a later date. You'll leave not only with new skills and creative inspiration, but also with handmade ceramic artworks to treasure for years to come.
