As part of Motherland African Festival, Ceramicists Idil Abdullahi and Selma Fida will guide you in building your own terracotta serving spoon, inspired by African serve wear.
You will learn different ceramics techniques, and design your spoon by engraving or using underglaze.
Once completed, these works will be fired and ready for collection at least 2 weeks after the workshop. You will be contacted to collect your work when they are ready.
No experience? No problem. We supply all the materials and guidance — you just bring your creativity (and maybe a friend or two).
