“United by Unique” World Cancer Day 7th Feb 2027 United in our message, Unique in our stories
A Sari fashion show and morning tea to commemorate World Cancer Day. Join us for a vibrant morning where culture, storytelling, and community come together to recognise the strength and resilience of people impacted by cancer. Cancer survivors, carers, and people currently navigating cancer will take to the runway draped in a sari that reflects their personal journey.
Enjoy afternoon tea, cultural activities, a fun grain-guessing challenge, and explore health information stalls featuring local services and support organisations. Learn more about healthy living, cancer prevention, and the support services available to the community.
Not just a fashion show, ‘The Colours of Resilience’ is a reminder that resilience is strengthened when communities come together to care, share knowledge, and support one another. By bringing people together through culture and conversation, we can break down barriers, encourage early action, and ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
