Wisteria flowers acrylic painting in impressionist style

Join artist Jo Wong for a fun and expressive acrylic painting workshop inspired by the beauty of impressionist art. 

Choose to paint delicate wisteria flowers and learn how to create rich colour, movement and texture using a combination of expressive brushstrokes, finger-painting techniques and acrylic paints. A drying retarder is used to mimic the soft blending effects of traditional oil painting, making this an accessible and rewarding experience for beginners.

This workshop is designed for anyone aged 14 years and over, with no previous painting experience required. Participants aged 10 to 14 years are welcome when accompanied by a participating parent or guardian due to the hands-on and sometimes messy nature of the painting process.

Jo will guide you step-by-step from start to finish, helping you create a beautiful artwork while exploring a range of creative painting techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment.

What's included:
All painting materials, canvases, brushes, aprons, gloves and cleaning supplies are provided. Participants will take home their completed artwork on a 12" x 16" canvas.

Cost:
$55 per person, including all materials and a finished take-home painting.

Maximum of 8 participants, ensuring plenty of individual guidance and support.
