As part of Motherland African Festival, Ceramicists Idil Abdullahi and Selma Fida will guide you through a paint and design workshop with pre-fired ceramic tube beads.
You will learn about the many wonderful African prints and patterns to influence your design for the beads.
Once completed, you will assemble the beads into a necklace for you to take home.
No experience? No problem. We supply all the materials and guidance — you just bring your creativity (and maybe a friend or two).
